My name is Terry Earthward Nichols, and I served in the U.S. Navy from 1971 to 1991.
I was on two ships in Norfolk, Virginia as well as a number of shore commands including Puerto Rico, Florida, Oregon, Main and Norfolk, Virginia. My capacity was job placement, marketing and administration as Chief Personnel man. This was a 20 year career for me, and I left as soon as I could. I was passed over for a promotion. But if I had not retired then, I would have retired from a ship somewhere down the road.
I am an extremely successful person who has been followed by self-sabotaging behaviors. My quest was to find out why I was behaving this way which lead me to being a Commissioned Stephen Minister (a non-denominational organization for crisis intervention) helping people in crisis. I always liked helping people and in high school, they gave me the nick name of Doc. Helping has brought me to what I do now. It has completely changed everything in my life. I was trying to continue to fit into corporate life and was never complete with it. The direction of my life is now focused on helping our American Veterans and their families, suffering from emotional memory blocks.
Certain events in a person’s life can produce traumatic emotional tags that can be so severe a person actually sets into motion various protections that can cause them to forget the event even occurred. Two events such as this happened to me with life going from one fabulous success after another followed by self-sabotage and failure. All I knew was that I just wanted to get off the Merry-Go-Round of negative and repetitive behavior.
As the father of CR (an online, non-linear, sequencing model for decreasing repetitive behaviors), I am pleased and excited that we can help with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and other repetitive behaviors including suicide prevention. Using the 5 senses as descriptors for memories, we look for missing or odd information getting us to the unknown Active Block that is driving repetitive behaviors. This is done without using hypnosis or pharmaceuticals.
We now have a non-profit arm of EvolutionaryHealer.com and have created the Global Project for Repetitive Behaviors and are seeking grants through the National Institutes of Health and the VA to help Veterans and their families. Although I assist people all over the world, I’m focusing on American Veterans and their families. If you or someone you know needs help, please email me at info@globalprojectsrepetitivebehavior.com or call us direct @ 1-828-676-2535.
People often ask me “how did you grow your business so fast?” I am never not working on my business. I’m thinking about it when I walk through the woods. I dream about it as I sleep. I talk about it to anyone who asks.
I have made my company a success because I first determined for myself that my company’s success is one CR Client at a time, doing the good work to help people who need it and the thank you will come later. Most of the really successful people I know and follow do this from the heart.
I hope this helps you too…
We at Global Projects change people’s lives every day and more times than that save lives.
