My name is Ronald Lehman, and I’m a Vietnam Veteran.
My Dad was in the Army Air Corp’s during WW11 in Japan. He was a tail gunner in the B-25 and B-17 bombers and made 57 missions over enemy territory.
I was enlisted in the U.S. Army in June 1966 and discharged June 1970. I have a bunch of stories that I can tell, and they are all true. I served in South Viet-Nam during 1968 – 1969 and was with the 588th Combat Batl, D Company in Tay- Ninh during the Tet Offensive of 1968.
I suffer from damaged hearing and nerves and now rated 70% for my hearing loss. I try to stay away from family functions, as it makes me nervous being around too many other people. Then the Agent Orange did a number on me, when I returned home in Fort Carson, Colorado. I had an emergency operation from a perforated peptic ulcer later, only to learn that it was caused by the Agent Orange, according to the Agent Orange Monthly news letter.
I have a hard time going to sleep at night and have been diagnosed with chronic PTSD.
