What story does your family have to tell?

Regardless of having served in peace or wartime, your stories matter to us and deserve to be told. We ask our soldiers to put the needs of their country ahead of themselves and their family.

We are all everyday people, most of whom know or have a family member serving in the armed forces, past and present.

The photo featured today is a sculpture on display of the Vietnam War Veterans. But we are going to begin featuring stories on this Facebook page of all veterans of all wars. We have discovered that soldiers of all wars share the common thread of the after effects of war, regardless of the war or generation. War changes the soldier. It often changes the family too…

For those veterans who are interested in completing our Interview Questionnaire, please send me a message through this page, so that we can submit the necessary forms. There is no obligation whatsoever. Many who at first declined and came back to give it a try, later said the exercise was a surprisingly pleasant one.

If you have a loved one who served and passed away, a family member can tell the veteran’s story as they perceived it. We have featured several veteran stories as told by their children. They were amazed at what they remembered the veteran parent saying throughout their childhood.

Comes A Soldier’s Whisper, wishing to honor our veterans for their service, past and present.
