Jenny La Sala is a native of Indiana and is pictured here with her father before his passing in 1999.
She attributes her love of writing and communications to watching her father drafting speeches in her youth for corporate safety and OSHA compliance.
During various intervals of her childhood, she would attempt to question her father about the war. But he had great difficulty talking about it, except to say, “whatever you read or see, it was much worse.” The men and women returning from the wars of yesterday and today have a huge impact on all of our lives. The war experience changes a soldier and changes all with whom they come in contact with. Perhaps their experiences, thoughts and feelings of separation can be mirrored within this book of one soldier’s whisperings…
