I am the proud daughter of a WWII veteran, David C. Tharp.
I am committed to remembering our veterans of the past, present and future. It takes total commitment, dedication and drive to post stories daily, writing and publishing books, all to express oneself, but also with the goal in mind to help other veterans who have been changed by their war experience which changes their families too. It is important to recognize the families behind the soldier and veteran and those people who support and stand beside those who are dedicated to making a difference, no matter how small.
I couldn’t achieve all that I have thus far or hope to accomplish in the future without my loyal and dedicated husband, Anthony. He is generous and kind, always ready to help those in need. He is generous with family and friends, giving of himself in all ways possible, a wonderful father, uncle and loyal son. He treats his children and my children with love and equality, with fairness reigning at all times.
Last, but not least, he is extremely supportive and respects my need to follow my dreams of remembering our history and veterans past, and present and is always ready to travel a different and sometimes unusual path.
“People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.”
~Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
Thank you, Anthony for your light and being you!
