Vietnam Veteran Elvic Provencio, an Elvis Presley tribute artist has replicated the ‘King’s” beautiful singing voice over the years.

Elvic is pictured here and served with the 175th Infantry as a door gunner during his tour in Vietnam. His full story is coming soon. But for now, do listen to this amazing rendition of Elvic Provencio’s amazing voice youtu.be/-1DqPoYf6Do There are a series of 10 songs that Elvic loaded onto YouTube as “Elvis Lives.” But these are sung by Elvic himself.

Elvic never used his real name for copyright purposes and sadly, he has had people steal the songs that he owned the mechanical rights to. He belongs to the Reunion of Professional Entertainers in Nashville. He used to do Classic country but an entertainer in Nashville said that he sounded more like Elvis.
As I sat listening to the words, I am sure that many of you who served in combat can eerily relate to this beautiful song written by Eric Clapton. God will surely call all veterans home one day where there will be “No more tears in heaven”.

“Tears In Heaven”
Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven?

I must be strong
And carry on,
‘Cause I know I don’t belong
Here in heaven.

Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven?

I’ll find my way
Through night and day,
‘Cause I know I just can’t stay
Here in heaven.

Time can bring you down,
Time can bend your knees.
Time can break your heart,
Have you begging please, begging please.

Beyond the door,
There’s peace I’m sure,
And I know there’ll be no more
Tears in heaven.

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven?

I must be strong
And carry on,
‘Cause I know I don’t belong
Here in heaven.
