Tomorrow we take flight to attend the Grand Opening and Exhibit by The Museum of Military History in Kissimmee, Florida, showcasing my father’s collection of letters in Comes A Soldier’s Whisper on Tuesday, April 8th @ 6pm.

The museum has taken special pride in recording eleven of the original wartime letters in a Power Point presentation and display. Visitors will now be able to view the letters and “listen” to them as they are read aloud. Children will especially appreciate the visual and sound as the letters are read aloud, giving them a presence and real sense of almost being there in the moment.

We are very proud that Don Smith has taken an interest in this project and look forward to his presentation.

The Museum of Military History, remembering our history and veterans, one day at a time.
