Paul McAfee is a Vietnam Veteran and Assistant Professor of Business at Daemon College.
He served with the 18th Engineer Brigade., and 815th Engineer Battalion. His father was an officer in the Navy. Paul’s military training was as a Radio Teletype Operator but he served as both a Photographer and a Communications Chief. He was on Engineer Hill, in Pleiku and at a remote rock quarry perimeter along the Ho Chi Minh Trail.
After service, Paul returned to the University of Maryland and graduated with honors and Phi Beta Kappa and received his MBA in 1995. Paul continues to serve, by teaching business degree courses in Hanoi and Saigon, Vietnam since 2012 for Keuka College. He plans to complete his Ph.D. in education & dissertation research on Project-Based Learning pedagogy at a Vietnamese university in the near future.
Paul is an active member of the Vietnam Veterans of America, The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, and the American Legion.
He also is active in Rotary International, where he is able to serve his community side-by-side with other volunteers.
