I work in a doctor’s office that had alot of Holocaust survivors.
Both parents of one of the doctors practicing there were survivors of the Holocaust. What a privilege it was to meet these people. They all still had the imprinted numbers on their arms. Several have passed away since I’ve been working there but they left an eternal imprint on me with their kindness.
The Holocaust museum is across the street and I can remember when they shut down the road to bring it in. People were standing outside to watch and I will say what a somber experience it was because you wondered how many innocent people died in that.
It definitely changed my lack of opinion and thought on the subject when I started my job.
