“I made it through basic Airborne training in ’67” and then sent to Ft. Campbell, Kentucky.
Later, being in the Screaming Division, I felt very proud and felt a lot better wearing that Screaming Eagle patch when learning about those WWII Airborne troopers. I was proud showing that patch on my young shoulder! I hope lots of people find out about those American Airborne troopers.
